Boat Smart Boating Safety Certification Course

A special one day Boating Safety Certification Course will be held on Saturday, January 26 at the Wisconsin Expo Center.  Representatives of the U.S. Power Squadron will conduct this special one-day class and those that pass will receive a certification of completion.  The knowledge gained could save you and your family’s life (at least it may reduce your insurance premiums).  All children (from 12-15 years of age) must have this certificate to operate a boat or personal watercraft without an adult on board.  This is a great opportunity to prepare for safe summer fun in ONE day!

John Bergsma

In his 14th year as a full-time touring Walleye pro, John is a seven-time Professional Walleye Tour Championship qualifier and the 1992 PWT Champion.  John is a native of Grand Rapids, MI and has been recognized four times as the #1 Michigan Tournament Angler.  He is very knowledgable about fishing every type of Walleye water in the Midwest; Inland Lakes, Rivers and every corner of the Great Lakes.
